Did you know that the Cloud Security Alliance offers their own vendor-neutral cloud certificate? It’s called the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) and it’s a great starting point into what can seem to be an overwhelming amount of cloud-related certifications. All the materials that the test covers are freely available. The test itself is a timed 90 minutes, open-book, 60 multiple-choice questions, and allows for two exam attempts.
The body of knowledge for the CCSK examination includes the following three documents: CSA Security Guidance for Critical Areas of Focus in Cloud Computing v4 (87% of the test questions), CSA’s CCMv3.0.1 (7%), and the ENISA report “Cloud Computing: Benefits, Risks and Recommendations for Information Security” (6%).
All materials are freely available on the CSA website: https://cloudsecurityalliance.org/education/ccsk/
